The State Government has tasked the Road Safety Advisory Council with developing a Speed Management Strategy.

The aim of the Strategy is to help reduce the number of people seriously injured or killed, by supporting safe and appropriate vehicle travel speeds on Tasmanian roads.

This public consultation provides information about the role of speed and speed management in road safety, and the proposed approach for the development of the Strategy. It also provides the opportunity to have your say on the Strategy.
