We want to make it easier for businesses and industry to understand and use the available visa options to employ skilled and semi-skilled workers and graduates.
State Growth is exploring a Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) for Tasmania. This new migration option provides flexibility on existing employer sponsored visa conditions, which could increase the pool of people available to help fill workforce shortages.
We'd like to hear from you about our proposed occupation list and salary discounts.
Use the buttons to select your industry area. Here you can access the proposed new occupation list for your industry and answer our simple survey. Your feedback will help us finalise a business case to the Australian Government to implement a DAMA and offer another option for employers to fill gaps in their workforce.
